Wooooosssshhhhhhh~~

Currently listening to : Come Back by Navi (ft. Jun Hyung of BEAST)

Hello, my dear blog readers :D

Other than my recurring gastric and indigestion problems, this week was uneventful, as usual.

Monday; I don't even remember this.

Tuesday; Science and Math Club meeting. Did logic puzzles.

Wednesday; Renjer Puteri. Copied notes again. Someone made all of us do pumping during the koko assembly. Most of us did the sujud raja pose instead :x Plus, I did something that I wanted to do an age ago :)

Thursday; Ed Board meeting. *reminder to self: send the report!* Then rushed for tuition straight after that, but it turned out that the teacher was late anyway :D

Friday; Best day in every week, because we have PJ and we get to breathe in the fresh air. Also because we have the easiest subjects on Friday. I like :)

I'm fully equipped with charcoal pills and minyak angin now, to ward off the evil bugs named indigestion and gastric :D Thanks, Mummy~

Toodles. Intervensi 1 is right after Chinese New Year. It's time to cram.

Chocolate-making Workshop.

Date : 20th January 2010 (Thaipusam)
Venue : Pandu Puteri Headquarters, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

Gathered at the school gate at 8.15am. Took Dalina's car with Kam to the headquarters. We broke off into groups of eight, and sat for the workshop conducted by Puan Asma.

After the demonstration, we divided ourselves into two, one section did the chocolate Oreos and the other did the choco-pops (basically chocolate on sticks). Armed with a single paintbrush and melted chocolate which was prepared beforehand for us, we started to make our Oreo biscuits covered in a thick layer of milk chocolate. We were done in about fifteen minutes, I think, and we popped the mould into the fridge.

We had to wait for our turn to use the choco-pops' mould, so we wandered around and disturbed Ivy's group. Also, a stall selling chocolates was set up, but I didn't buy any because 1) I'm not a fan of chocolate, and 2) I didn't bring any cash. Kamilia did buy some chocolates though, here's a photo of them :

Box of chocolates, priced at RM 5 each.

We took out our chocolate Oreos' mould too soon, and we couldn't get the biscuits out. In the end, one each of mine and Janice's cracked. Stuck edible stickers on them.

Then, it was our turn to do our choco-pops. This was way more fun than the Oreos because we got to fool around with coloured chocolate :D

Photo grabbed from Ivy.

Then, we got bored (again) and decided to join Ivy's group to do mini heart shaped chocolates.

The whole event ended at about, 1.10pm. We received our participation certs and our school got a prize for having the highest number of participants. Obviously, the prize was chocolates.

Choco-pop. My mom and her friend gobbled up the other two before I could take a photo :(

Overall, I think this was a great workshop (Y) I learnt a new skill and now my mom insists that I should put my skills to good use by making her a batch of chocolate. Heh :)

Toodles.

I'm not alone.

Currently listening to : Not Alone by Park Jung Min.

You're Beautiful.

I've survived the third week of January :D

This week, we had a new timetable and our extra classes began. My stomach doesn't agree with this new timetable, 'cause I start to get hungry about one hour before school is over ;_; I'm such a glutton.

Monday; I think we had a briefing on our SPM registration.

Tuesday; Usual. We conducted an experiment in Bio about the TSA/V ratio in different-sized potato cubes. Chung Shin's potatoes were rotten :x Had Badminton meeting after school. Teacher's threatening to kick people out if no one brings their racquets :(

Wednesday; Usual. Had Renjer Puteri meeting, copied notes for the log book.

Also, I had the shock of my life ;_;
After school, I went for tuition at Pandan Jaya as usual, and I was dreaming in the car while waiting for my teacher to turn up. Suddenly, I heard this loud thump on my window and holy cow, it was Xi Men with a demonic smile on her face. Xi Men said my eyes popped out in shock.
And she wouldn't stop laughing after that :(

Darn you, Xi Men. I'll get my revenge one day *plots*

Thursday; Thaipusam! Went for a chocolate-making workshop at the Pandu Puteri Headquarters at Brickfields. Will make another post about it.

Friday; Awesome day. Spent the whole day out of the classroom. We had Add. Maths at the Skylite (Y). And later, we went to the field for PJ. The teachers wanted us to prepare for the Merentas Desa, but we ended up playing Galah Panjang. Very fun :D

Went to the Computer Lab after recess for English. Sheng's group presented their oral, titled Volcanoes. They even did the volcano experiment! The 'lava' smelled really fruity and yummy :D
Then, we stayed in the lab for History and started stalking people on Facebook. Heh.

'Kay, gotta go. I have a heap of work taunting me in the corner of my room.

I'm ending this post with a super random pic of my crowning glory.

I just wanted to see how long my hair is :) The colours didn't come out well though, and no amount of Photoshopping could save it.

Your lipstick stains, on the front lobe of my left side brains.

Currently listening to: Hey Soul Sister by Train.

Love Yourself.

It's hard to believe that just the second week of January has passed by. It actually feels as if I've gone through the whole of January already, what with the steadily growing mountain of homework, assignments and projects. My eyebags are like, an inch thick ;_; *flails*

On the upside, I finished Interlok last Sunday, on the 9th of January 2011. The story's okay, the more interesting ones are Cing Huat's and Maniam's stories.

Anyway, here was what happened this week.

Monday;
Cooke House AGM. I got force into the AJK Papan Kenyataan post, together with Xi Men, Kwai See, Rebecca and Chloe. Seriously. Worst job ever.

Tuesday;
Usual. We pranked Rahul into smelling a potato cube that was immersed in a beaker of fluorescent pink liquid, which smelt like a cross between a fart, poop and rotten eggs.

Wednesday;
Usual. We spent the last two periods gossiping and generally making a racket because our teacher didn't come into the class. Skipped koko, because we were preparing a performance for Puan Jasbir's farewell on Friday. We decided on Hey Soul Sister by Train, because it was her phone's ringtone and her favourite song.

Thursday;
We skipped like, nearly all the subjects after recess, to practice in the music room.

Friday;
Didn't have a single lesson the whole day. We got permisson to practice the song and dragged along the whole 5 Sc. Alpha with us, together with the ex-4 Alpha-ians who were involved in the performance.

After our practice, Xi Men found out that she lost her shoes (lol).
Apparently, a Form One kid took her shoes (because some Form Ones were also using the music room for another performance), unknowingly. Luckily, we found the Form Ones in the hall and Xi Men ambushed the kid wearing her shoes.

The best part was, he apologised by saying "Sorry, baby." HAHAHAHA.

Anyway, the farewell was a period after the senior recess, so we practiced and fooled around for a bit before settling down in the Skylite for the arrival of Puan Jasbir, speeches and such. To be honest, during Puan Jasbir's speech I actually felt this overwhelming sense of sorrow and heatbreak. To tell the truth, she's the only teacher I've really really liked, because she taught us very well and with her heart. She even talks about random topics when our brains were gonna explode from an overdose of Add. Maths.

So, our performance was the second one, and I think we did it very well, compared to the *ahem* funeral requiem. I couldn't sing the first paragraph, as my throat was choked up with emotion.

At the end, we held up a banner with the word "WE L♥VE YOU" and got down the stage to give roses to Puan Jasbir. I think the hugs she gave us was the last straw, since some people (including me) burst into tears right there and then.

Puan Jasbir, if you ever read this, I'd like to let you know that we 4 Alpha-ians of 2010 love you to bits :)

OKAY, END OF POST.

This photo does a good job of showing my tiredness. Believe me, if I didn't PS this photo, you would be appalled at my dark circles :/

Hey people ^^;

Finally, the first weekend after a week long of school.

Tuesday;
Nothing much.

Wednesday;
Badminton Club AGM. Elected as Vice Secretary (I thought vice-posts are supposed to be for Form 4s?)

Thursday;
Science and Maths Club AGM. Elected as Secretary. (Lol, why do I keep getting jobs related to writing? :o)

Friday;
Renjer Puteri AGM. Some idiot took my koko book. *curses* Now I have to fork out for another one. -_-"

So in one week, I already have what seems like a ton of work. I have to read Interlok and Pahlawan Buntung, do notes for Physics, Chemistry and BM, read a poem and prepare an oral presentation for English, do a piece on the school crest for Editorial Board and complete the files for Chemistry, Physics and English. Oh and did I mention that I have some exercises for Tatabahasa? :(

Anyway. Unrelated photos.

Our Form 5 novel, Interlok.

It's okay, so far. Except for the part where they make Cing Huat/Cina Panjang use some seriously cacat Bahasa Melayu. I can't even decipher some parts of his speech. :/

By the way, is this book seriously gonna get banned? If yes, doesn't that mean we would have to wait for yet another novel to come out and force ourselves to read it? :I urghhhh

First movie of the year 2011.

Kay, bye. I have to get back to my never-ending pile of work.

To keep my 2011 resolution, I'm blogging :D This isn't gonna last long though, with tuitions starting by the middle of this week/next week.

So, today was the first day of school and I think it was okay.
Classmates are alright and the teachers are okay... so far.
I got my textbooks and ohemgee, the new novel for BM, Interlok is so so so thick :(

School's over at 2.30pm everyday except for Friday. They've decided that we need extra classes starting from this month itself. Whoa, pressure much? 8|

Alright, toodles.
